Thar She Blows!!

This weekend my husband and I went away to Gloucester, Mass and went on a whale watch. It was unbelievable! Here are just a few pictures from the trip.

We saw 2 pairs of humpback mother and calfs.

We got to watch the whales open mouth feed, very rare to see.

The whales open up their mouths and let them fill up with the ocean water. Then they force all of the water out leaving the food behind. They mainly were feeding on sea eels.

Overall we saw about 16 whales.

Have you ever been on a whale watch?
